Talk about petroleum running out and people will jump to worry about cars.
Friends, that is WRONG worry.
The cars will work, probably through fuel cells. Even liners might sail by winds or hydrogen or nuclear power.
My worry is that the raw material for manufacturing plastic will be scarce and/or more expensive. We will be catapulted to the life of heavy metallic containers of our grandfathers!
My worry is that synthetic chemistry will suffer high commodity prices. That will have direct impact on medicines!
And let us not talk about synthetic paints! Would it not be very colorless – like Dorothy’s reality?
